Zusammenfassung

Das Ziel aller Qualitätsmaßnahmen in der Laboratoriumsmedizin ist eine sachgerechte Diagnostik mit einem aussagekräftigen Befund. Dieser bildet die Grundlage für eine optimale Therapie des Patienten. Für das Laboratorium wie auch für die POCT-Anwender bedeutet dies umgekehrt, dass es gilt, von der Qualitätskontrolle der Analytik zu einem umfassenden Qualitätsmanagement fortzuschreiten. Dieses Ziel ist nur erreichbar, wenn der gesamte diagnostische Prozess in die Betrachtung einbezogen wird, der sich von der richtigen, patientenbezogenen Anforderung krankheitsrelevanter Analyte bis zur korrekten Interpretation der Analyseergebnisse zur Diagnosefindung und Therapiekontrolle erstreckt. Prä- und Postanalytik bei POCT hängen sowohl von dem zu bestimmenden Analyten als auch vom verwendeten Gerät ab. Einige übergreifende Prinzipien sollen hier angesprochen werden.
