Zusammenfassung
Der Entbindungstermin rückt näher, in knapp 3 Wochen soll es soweit sein. Die 33-jährige Mutter wünscht sich, dass ihr Kind dieses Mal wieder »auf natürlichem Weg« zur Welt kommen soll, ohne Kaiserschnitt. Vor 5 Jahren war ihre Tochter spontan, ohne Probleme zur Welt gekommen, vor 2 Jahren hatte man ihr bei Beckenendlage »aus Sicherheitsgründen« (wie es hieß) zu einem Kaiserschnitt geraten, der problemlos verlief. Als der Termin erreicht ist, treten keine Wehen ein, und der Zervixbefund ist nach wie vor unreif. Nach Überschreiten der 41. SSW muss eine Geburtseinleitung erwogen werden. Dafür stehen verschiedene Methoden zur Verfügung, die sorgfältig gegeneinander abzuwägen sind.
