Im Rahmen einer abenteuerlichen Flucht über die Balkanroute erreicht ein syrisches Ehepaar mit seinen zwei Kindern nach Monaten Deutschland. Während der schwereren Zeit in der Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung ist der Verlauf ihrer dritten Schwangerschaft nicht frei von Schwierigkeiten. Gemeinsam mit dem Hebammen- und Ärzteteam der betreuenden Klinik sind Sie aufgerufen, Problemstellungen zu Kommunikation/Sprachverständnis, Terminfestlegung und einem gültigen Wachstums-Monitoring zu bewältigen und daraus Interventionsstrategien zu entwickeln. Trotz eines ethnisch erheblich divergierenden geburtshilflichen Erfahrungshintergrunds ist es Ihre Aufgabe, die syrische Familie zu situationsangemessenen perinatologischen Entscheidungen zu führen.
