Abstract

Based on the motivation given in Section 1.1 and the analysis of the scientific state of the art (cf. Chapter 2), an information fusion system for the determination of a system’s current state is proposed in this chapter. This information fusion system is denoted by multilayer attribute-based conflict-reducing observation (MACRO). The concepts presented in Chapter 3 serve as the basis for the research elaborated in this chapter.
