Die akute hypoxämische ARI gehört zu den häufigsten Komplikationen nach operativen Eingriffen. Durch Anwendung von CPAP oder NIV direkt nach der Extubation können die Reintubationshäufigkeit und andere Komplikationen vermindert werden.
