Zusammenfassung
Beim Status asthmaticus handelt es sich um einen intensivmedizinischen Notfall, gekennzeichnet durch einen über längere Zeit anhaltenden und nicht durch die üblichen Therapiemaßnahmen behandelbaren schweren Asthmaanfall. Die Behandlung erfolgt auf einer Intensivstation.
