Zusammenfassung
Bei kaum einem anderen Thema wird hinsichtlich der Behandlung mit Akupunktur so intensiv geforscht wie bezüglich der Depression. In diesem Kapitel wird zuerst werden das Krankheitsbild aus psychiatrischer Sicht beschrieben und die aktuellen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten dargestellt. Im Anschluss geht die Autorin auf die Erklärung des Krankheitskomplexes aus Sicht der traditionellen chinesischen Medizin ein. Hierbei werden zahlreiche Punktkombinationen zur Behandlung dargestellt. Ein Fallbeispiel schließt das Kapitel ab.
