Zusammenfassung

Dickdarmverletzungen sind eine seltene Traumafolge bei stumpfem abdominellen Trauma und treten nur in ca. 1 % aller Fälle auf. Hiervon sind typischerweise Patienten mit abdominellen Kombinationsverletzungen betroffen, bei denen zusätzliche Lazerationen parenchymatöser Organe wie der Milz und/oder der Leber vorliegen. Des Weiteren kommen bei entsprechenden Traumata zusätzliche Dünndarmverletzungen vor und dürfen nicht übersehen werden.
