Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend von dem Konstrukt des Flourishing, das hedonisches, eudaimonisches und soziales Wohlbefinden umschließt, wird das unterschiedliche konzeptuelle Verständnis des eudaimonischen Wohlbefindens beschrieben, wie es sich in der Identitätstheorie, der Selbstbestimmungstheorie und dem multidimensionalen Konzept des psychologischen Wohlbefindens darstellt. Die Implikationen für die psychotherapeutische Arbeit werden jeweils kurz ausgeführt. Zudem werden verschiedene Interventionen zur Förderung des eudaimonischen Wohlbefindens dargestellt: Die Well-Being-Therapie, Interventionen zur Förderung einer Sinn stiftende Lebensgestaltung, zur Entwicklung von Sinn in Krisenzeiten sowie Interventionen zur persönlichen Weiterentwicklung, wie sie unter spezifischen Belastungsbedingungen hilfreich sind (Unterstützung von posttraumatischer Reifung, Förderung von Weisheit als Ressource).
