Zusammenfassung

Seit ihrer Erstbeschreibung 1992 hat sich die minimalinvasive Nebennierenchirurgie rasch entwickelt. Aktuell werden 2 minimalinvasive Techniken über einen rein retroperitoneoskopischen Zugang durchgeführt. Die Indikationen für diese retroperitoneoskopische Adrenalektomie lehnen sich den Indikationen der transperitonealen Zugänge an. Obwohl der retroperitoneoskopische Zugang speziellen technischen Voraussetzungen unterliegt und einen erfahrenen Operateur erfordert, bietet er dem Operateur und dem Patienten erhebliche Vorteile im Vergleich zum transperitonealen Zugang: ein kleineres OP-Trauma, einen einfachen Zugang beim bereits operierten Patienten, eine reduzierte Krankenhausverweildauer, die Möglichkeit einer bilateralen Resektion im selben Eingriff und die Möglichkeit einer partiellen Adrenalektomie.
