Abnützungen des Stütz- und Bewegungsapparates werden mit zunehmendem Alter häufiger. Die damit verbundenen Erkrankungen belasten in erster Linie die Betroffenen, in zweiter Linie aber über die Behandlungskosten auch die Gesellschaft.
