Zusammenfassung

Schulterschmerz gehört zu den häufigsten Diagnosen in der orthopädischen Routine und erfordert regelhaft eine Bildgebung, die das Ziel hat, die unterschiedlichen zugrunde liegenden Erkrankungen darzustellen. Dieses Kapitel stellt nach Erläuterung der Anatomie diagnostische Algorithmen für das diagnostische Vorgehen bei häufigen Schulterpathologien dar und diskutiert die Vorteile und Grenzen der unterschiedlichen bildgebenden Verfahren wie Projektionsradiographie, Magnetresonanztomographie, Computertomographie oder Sonographie.
