Zusammenfassung
Infektiöse Erkrankungen von Knochen und Weichteilen sind mannigfaltig in ihrer Genese und in ihrem klinischen und radiologischen Erscheinungsbild. Um eine rasche und zielgerichtete Behandlung zu ermöglichen, bedarf es daher eines engen Zusammenspiels von Radiologen und Orthopäden, aber auch Mikrobiologen und Pathologen. Dieses Kapitel beleuchtet diagnostische und therapeutische Aspekte entzündlicher Veränderungen von Weichteilen sowie des Knochens, mit besonderem Fokus auf entzündlichen Veränderungen des Achsenskeletts und Infektionen nach Kunstgelenkversorgung.
