Zusammenfassung
In einer Reihe von Untersuchungen konnte – wie wiederholt dargestellt – gezeigt werden, dass depressive Personen positive Erwartungen an das Grübeln haben, z. B. dass Grübeln zu mehr Einsicht und zur Lösung von Problemen verhilft, und dass solche positiven Metakognitionen sowohl mit vermehrtem Grübeln als auch mit vermehrter Depressivität assoziiert sind. In dieser Sitzung sollen positive Metakognitionen zum Grübeln infrage gestellt und modifiziert werden.
