Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein Überblick über neurochirurgische Optionen zur Behandlung von Paresen, Spastik und Schmerz bezüglich der oberen Extremität im Kindesalter gegeben. Bezüglich höhergradiger Nervenverletzungen wird auf Neurolyse, Nerventransplantation und Neurotisation eingegangen. Neurotisationen sind bei Avulsionen oder höhergradigen Nervenverletzungen mit weiter Entfernung von der motorischen Endplatte möglich. Es wird auf Besonderheiten der Kompressionssyndrome im Kindesalter eingegangen und es werden spezifische Erkrankungen des Kindesalters vorgestellt, die häufig mit Nervenkompressionen einhergehen. Für die Behandlung fokaler Spastik oder peripherer Neuromschmerzen steht die Neurotomie zur Verfügung. Darüber hinaus besteht die Möglichkeit der Neuromodulation durch intrathekale Medikamentenpumpen.
