Zusammenfassung

Gegensätzliche, häufig gebrauchte Sprichwörter wie „Viele Köche verderben den Brei“ und „Viele Jäger sind des Hasen Tod“ werfen die Fragen auf, ob und unter welchen Bedingungen Einzel- oder Gruppenleistung effizienter ist. Der Einfluss der Gruppe an sich (Gruppengröße und Gruppenzusammensetzung), des Aufgabentyps, der Ab- bzw. Anwesenheit einer Führungskraft sowie der Umweltgegebenheiten auf das Leistungsergebnis werden behandelt und Prozessgewinne bzw. -verluste im Rahmen von Gruppenleistung diskutiert.
