Größte Gruppe der Antiallergika sind die Hyposensibilisierungsmittel zur allergenspezifischen Immuntherapie bei allergisch bedingten Atemwegskrankheiten mit einem Verordnungsanteil von etwa 60% und Nettokosten von 333 Mio. €. Danach folgen H1-Antihistaminika, die vor allem zur Behandlung des Heuschnupfens, der allergischen Bindehautentzündung und der Urtikaria eingesetzt werden.
