Zusammenfassung
Die thermische Nutzung des Untergrundes mithilfe von erdberührenden Bauteilen (thermisch aktivierten Bauteilen) stellt eine zukunftsorientierte Möglichkeit der Energiegewinnung im Wärmesektor dar. Durch die Integration von Absorberrohren in ohnehin erforderliche Bauteile können die Installationskosten im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Systemen der Oberflächennahen Geothermie deutlich reduziert werden. Während der Energiepfahl weltweit bereits eine weite Verbreitung findet, ist die Nutzung von flächigen Bauteilen bisher nur vereinzelt bekannt, obwohlWände, Bodenplatten oder Tunnel über große erdberührende Flächen und damit ein großes regeneratives Energiepotential verfügen.
Die für Erdwärmesonden bekannten und gängigen Rechenmodelle können nur bedingt auf thermisch aktivierte Bauteile übertragen werden. So weisen Energiepfähle im Vergleich zu Erdwärmesonden ein deutlich größeres Verhältnis von Durchmesser zu Länge auf. Bei flächigen Bauteilen ist darüber hinaus ein nicht rotationssymmetrischer Wärmetransport zwischen Bauteil und Untergrund zu berücksichtigen. Da thermisch aktivierte Bauteile vor allem oberflächennah eingesetzt werden, sind nicht zu Letzt andere Randbedingungen (jahrzeitlich schwankende Temperaturverteilung im Untergrund, unterirdische Wärmequellen, gegenseitige Beeinflussung von benachbarten Bauteilen etc.) zu beachten.
Für eine effiziente und wirtschaftliche Anlagenauslegung sollten thermisch aktivierte Bauteile stets mithilfe von ganzheitlichen Berechnungsansätzen dimensioniert werden. Die Verwendung von Erfahrungswerten ist lediglich in einer ersten Machbarkeitsstudie zu empfehlen. In den letzten Jahren sind daher vermehrt auch Berechnungsansätze und Modelle für thermisch aktivierte Bauteile entwickelt bzw. aufgestellt worden, die durch einen unterschiedlichen Detaillierungsgrad und eine unterschiedliche Anwenderfreundlichkeit gekennzeichnet sind. Eine Auswahl wird im vorliegenden Kapitel vorgestellt, mit dem Ziel, dem planenden Ingenieur einen Überblick über den Stand der Technik zu verschaffen und das Einsatzgebiet bzw. die Ausweitung von thermisch aktivierten Bauteilen auch zukünftig weiter zu steigern.
