Dieses Buch stützt die These, dass semantische Information biologisch ist, dass sie nur im Kontext der Evolution existiert, und dass sie in Form von Energie auftritt. Diese These wird in diesem Kapitel im „Evolutionär-energetischen Informationsmodell (EEIM)“ zusammengefasst und strukturiert. EEIM ist ein neuer Ansatz, semantische Information zu verstehen. Es bildet ein Komplement zur Informationstheorie Shannons.
