Zusammenfassung

Im Folgenden wird ein Überblick über die Notfälle bakterielle Meningitis und Herpes-Enzephalitis und anderer seltener infektiologischer Komplikationen im Bereich der neurologischen Intensivmedizin gegeben. Die diagnostischen und therapeutischen Empfehlungen sind an die Leitlinien der Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurologie (www.dgn.org) angelehnt.
