Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel wird das CognitiveBehavioral Analysis System ofPsychotherapy (CBASP) sowohl wissenschaftlich fundiert als auch praxisorientiert dargestellt. CBASP ist die erste Psychotherapie, welche spezifisch für die Behandlung chronischer Depression entwickelt wurde. Die Techniken wurden ursprünglich von James McCullough beschrieben und anschließend von ihm und anderen weiterentwickelt. Zu Beginn des Kapitels wird anhand des Fallbeispiels das Störungsmodell der chronischen Depression eingeführt und die empirischen Belege für dieses Modell zusammengefasst. Dann werden anhand dieses Fallbeispiels Schritt für Schritt die Struktur der Behandlung und die einzelnen CBASP-Techniken erläutert. Den Schwerpunkt bilden dabei die Situationsanalyse und die Techniken der Beziehungsgestaltung. Zum Abschluss des Kapitels wird dargestellt, warum CBASP auf Grundlage der mittlerweile vorliegenden klinischen Studien als evidenzbasierte Psychotherapie gelten kann.
