Kurzfassung
Die Anforderungen an Sensoren in Fahrzeugen steigen stetig. Sie sollen nicht nur kompakt, robust und kostengünstig sein, sondern auch zunehmend präzise, dynamisch und energiesparend. Diese Trends führen zu einer kontinuierlich steigenden Anzahl an magnetischen Sensoren in modernen Fahrzeugen. Dabei wächst der Anteil an magnetoresistiven (MR) Sensoren überproportional an. Aufgrund ihres berührungslosen und damit verschleißfreien Prinzips, den sehr kleinen Abmessungen, dem exzellentem Temperatur verhalten sowie dem Höchstmaß an Robustheit und Stabilität über Lebensdauer können sie neuen Anforderungen gerecht werden. Aktuelle Neuentwicklungen bei magnetoresistiven Sensoren mit weiter verbesserten Eigenschaften oder erweiterte Funktionalitäten werden vorgestellt sowie zahlreiche Anwendungsbeispiele. Die Anwendungen von MR- Sensoren erstrecken sich vom Fahrwerk, Antriebsstrang und Fahrerassistenzsystemen im Fahrzeug selbst bis hin zu Anwendungen in der Verkehrsinfrastruktur oder auch im Prüffeld für Motoren und Fahrwerk.
