Zusammenfassung
Empirische Sinnforschung beschäftigt sich mit Sinn im Leben. Es geht also um die Frage, ob, wie und wann Menschen in ihrem Leben Sinn finden, und worin. Dass viele Menschen von einem Sinn des Lebens ausgehen, wird durch diesen Ansatz nicht infrage gestellt. Empirisch untersucht wird ein eventueller Sinn des Lebens aber ausschließlich aus der Perspektive des Individuums. Wie kann man diesen persönlichen Lebenssinn fassen? Und was bedeutet „Sinn“ überhaupt?
