Vom Affekt zu Gefühl und Mitgefühl – eine neurobiologische und bindungstheoretische Einführung

Zusammenfassung

Über den Lebenszyklus hinweg signalisieren wir mit Hilfe unserer Basisaffekte Angst, Wut, Trauer, Ekel und Freude, was wir vom Anderen wollen und brauchen. In privaten und in Arbeitsbeziehungen beeinflussen die Affekte simultan und permanent unsere Wahrnehmung und unser Verhalten. Sie arbeiten als Anpassungsprogramme, zum großen Teil ohne bewusste Kontrolle und mit hoher Geschwindigkeit. So gibt es keine sinnlosen oder moralisch zu verurteilenden oder gar negativen Affekte und Gefühle. Angst, Wut und auch sozial gelernte Gefühle wie Neid, Eifersucht, ja sogar Schadenfreude sind unter bestimmten Bedingungen förderlich für die Stabilisierung. Gefährlich werden sie erst, wenn man aufgrund tiefer liegender Probleme nichts von ihnen weiß oder wenn man sie nicht sozial verträglich kontrollieren kann. Im Parlament der Gefühle hat jedes Gefühl zunächst einmal Rederecht. Abgestimmt wird, wenn alle zu Wort gekommen sind. Verantwortliche Führungskräfte werden dies in ihrem Führungshandeln zu berücksichtigen wissen.
