Zusammenfassung

Neben den normalen Befunden, Normvarianten und unspezifischen Befunden gibt es eine Anzahl wichtiger Differenzialdiagnosen, die bei der medizinischen Beurteilung von Befunden möglicherweise missbrauchter Kinder zu berücksichtigen sind. Aufgrund der erheblichen psychosozialen und juristischen Implikationen einer falsch positiven Diagnose eines sexuellen Kindesmissbrauchs ist die Kenntnis dermatologischer, infektiöser, systemischer und anderer Erkrankungen im Anogenitalbereich von großer Bedeutung. Dies gilt insbesondere angesichts der geringen Rate diagnostischer Befunde bei missbrauchten Kindern.
