Zusammenfassung
Das pädiatrische Hodgkin-Lymphom (PHL) ist eine vergleichsweise seltene Erkrankung, die unter Anwendung einer Polychemotherapie mit anschließender Bestrahlung hervorragende Heilungschancen von >95 % hat. Seit den letzten Jahrzehnten steht die Vermeidung von therapiebedingten Spätfolgen im Focus. Die FDG-PET/(CT) kann hierbei einen entscheidenden Beitrag leisten, indem sie durch Evaluation des frühen Ansprechens auf die verabreichte Polychemotherapie diejenigen Patienten anzeigt, bei denen ein Verzicht auf die Strahlentherapie möglich ist. Zudem ist sie als Diagnostikum zum initialen Staging unverzichtbar geworden. In diesem Kapitel wird der aktuelle Stand (bis 2014) der FDG-PET/(CT) beim PHL dargelegt und durch Bildbeispiele ergänzt. Zudem finden sich die wichtigsten bei Kindern und Jugendlichen vorkommenden Fallstricke der FDG-PET/(CT)-Bewertung, ebenfalls unterlegt mit entsprechendem Bildmaterial. Der letzte Absatz beschreibt die Situation bezüglich Kostenerstattung der FDG-PET/(CT) beim PHL in Deutschland.
