Die Brust liegt der Thoraxwand zwischen der 2. und 6. Rippe innerhalb der Schichten der oberflächlichen Pektoralisfaszie auf. Fettgewebe und fibroglanduläresGewebe der Brüste befinden sich zwischen der oberflächlichen Schicht dieser Faszie direkt unter der Haut und der tiefen Faszie, die dem M. pectoralis ventral aufliegt (◘ Abb. 7.1).
