Das MRT-Brustbildgebungs-Lexikon wurde so weit wie möglich dem Mammografielexikon angepasst. Dieses Unterkapitel baut auf den Beschreibungen im Teil BI-RADS® MRT auf und liefert Erklärungen sowie Begründungen zu den Termini. Was nun folgt, ist als Hilfestellung gedacht, beabsichtigt aber nicht, die erforderlichen Standards der Praxis zu implizieren.
