Abstract
The primary purpose of universities and other research-oriented institutions is to transfer and disseminate knowledge. While students write to explore topics and become familiar with what is known about them, it is the duty of every scientist to share any new findings with the scientific community, in an effort to advance the existing “knowledge pool.” In this way, the writing produced in the academic setting aims to educate the next generation of scientists.
The more elaborate our means of communication, the less we communicate.
