Abstract

The theoretical research methods of the gas discharge development and the Monte Carlo simulation of gas discharge process are described in this chapter where the Boltzmann equation algorithm for solving discharge parameters is also analyzed. Moreover, two kinds of theoretical methods are adopted to solve the discharge parameters of common gases, verifying the feasibility and applicable conditions of the theoretical method.
