Abstract
Nanhai District of Foshan city, Guangdong province, is located in the west of the Pearl River Delta, close to Guangzhou and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao. The district covers an area of 1,073.82 km2 and has a household population of 1,130,400 people and a floating population of 1,107,900. Nanhai, a vibrant town, is at the forefront of reform and opening up, and it has been among the economically strongest performers in China in recent years.
