Zusammenfassung
Abhängigkeitserkrankungen führen zu tiefgreifenden Veränderungen im Bereich des Verhaltens und des subjektiven Erlebens. Das Abhängigkeitsverhalten dominiert das Denken, es wird mehr gewollt als alles andere, es wird essentiell für das subjektive Wohlbefinden. Neurobiologisch spielen Strukturen des Belohnungssystems (z.B. Nucleus accumbens, Amygdala, präfrontaler Kortex) eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entstehung von Abhängigkeitserkrankungen. Für das psychodynamische Verständnis ist die Kenntnis der unterschiedlichen Modelle verschiedener psychoanalytischer Schulen (Triebtheorie, Ich-Psychologie, Objekt-Beziehungstheorie, Selbstpsychologie) hilfreich.
