Zusammenfassung

Interventionelle Maßnahmen am Thorax sind bei guter Indikationsstellung sehr erfolgreich. Die Komplikationsrate ist gering, wenn gut ausgebildete und trainierte Therapeuten die Maßnahmen durchführen. Prinzipiell sollte gelten: »Try ultrasound first« (Sistrom 1997).
