Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden Verfahren zur rechnerisch-analytischen Auswertung von Messreihen diskutiert. Dabei wird davon ausgegangen, dass die Messungen sowohl von deterministischen als auch von stochastischen Anteilen beeinflusst sind. Ziel einer geeigneten Modellierung ist die Trennung der einzelnen Anteile. Während der deterministische Anteil weitgehend durch geometrische und physikalische Zusammenhänge erklärt und parametrisiert werden kann, liegen über die Zusammensetzung und das Verhalten der stochastischen Einflüsse nur unpräzise Informationen vor. Diese Folge von Zufallsvariablen wird daher als stochastischer Prozess modelliert, dem Eigenschaften wir Stationarität, Homogenität und Isotropie zugeordnet werden können. Für den stochastischen Prozess werden unterschiedliche Darstellungsformen sowohl im Zeitbereich als auch im Frequenzbereich einander gegenübergestellt, wobei bei kovarianzstationären Prozessen auch die zweiten Momente mit einbezogen werden. Autokovarianzen im Zeitbereich und das Leistungsdichtespektrum im Frequenzbereich bilden somit zusammen mit dem Signal und dessen spektraler Darstellung ein Viereck – das Magische Quadrat . Dieser Name wurde gewählt, da vielfach geschlossene Formeln für die Umrechnung zwischen den vier Darstellungsformen gefunden werden können und somit der Weg für unterschiedlichste Modellierungs- und Berechnungsvarianten zur Berücksichtigung der Korrelationen im stochastischen Modell eröffnet werden. Als Optimierungsmodell wird das klassische Kollokationmodell herangezogen, wie in der Physikalischen Geodäsie üblich. Dieses Modell wird als bester linearer erwartungstreuer Prädiktor dargestellt, was eine direkte Gegenüberstellung zu den Kriging-Modellen (Simple-Kriging, Ordinary-Kriging und Universal-Kriging) aus der Geostatistik erlaubt. Für die numerische Implementierung der Korrelationen wird der Zugang über Kovarianzfunktionen und der Zugang über stochastische Prozesse näher diskutiert, die beide auch mit sehr großen Datenmengen noch effizient umgehen können. Zunächst wird auf Kovarianzfunktionen und deren mathematischen Eigenschaften näher eingegangen, der Zusammenhang zu Kovarianzmatrizen und deren positiver Definitheit hergestellt bevor dann spezielle Methoden zur Erstellung von finiten Kovarianzfunktionen erarbeitet werden. Finite Kovarianzfunktionen in \( \mathbb{R} \), \( \mathbb{R}^{2} \) und \( \mathbb{R}^{3} \) werden dargestellt und deren Anwendungen auf dem Kreis \( \mathbb{S} \) und der Kugel \( \mathbb{S}^{2} \) kurz diskutiert. Für regelmäßig abgetastete kovarianzstationäre Prozesse wird ein alternativer Zugang zur Beschreibung des stochastischen Modells über diskrete lineare Prozesse aufgezeigt. Durch das Magische Quadrat wird die Äquivalenz der beiden Zugänge bewiesen.
