Abstract
Nowadays hair transplantation is the most commonly used surgical technique to treat androgenetic alopecia. It is performed on an outpatient basis with only a small risk of failure. The result can be appreciated only after a few months when the grafted bulbs have regenerated hair, and limited density may require further operations to achieve the desired effect.
