Zusammenfassung
In ▶ Kap. 3 wird erläutert, auf welche Weise psychische Störungen beschrieben und systematisch voneinander abgegrenzt werden (Klassifikation psychischer Störungen). Außerdem wird eine kurze Übersicht über das aktuell gültige Klassifikationssystem ICD-10 (WHO 1992) gegeben. Weiterhin werden in Kap. 3 verschiedene Erklärungsansätze zur Entstehung (Ätiologie) psychischer Störungen dargestellt. Einen Erklärungsansatz bietet das Vulnerabilitäts-Stress-Bewältigungs-Modell. Ursprünglich im Rahmen der Aufklärung der Schizophrenie eingeführt, sind viele Aspekte dieses Modells auch für andere psychische Störungen gültig.
