Abstract
This chapter starts from some representing discussions on visual art related to visuality, creative process, and aesthetic experience in the Chinese classical arena (Shih Tao). The philosophical implications and the aesthetical references in these discussions are analyzed and studied, with reference to the Confucian and the Daoist contexts.
