Zusammenfassung

Die optische Kohärenztomographie (OCT) hat sich mittlerweile als nichtinvasive Diagnostikmethode in Ergänzung zur Klinik und Dermatoskopie etabliert. Besonders im dermatoonkologischen Bereich eignet sich die OCT hervorragend zur Beurteilung von nichtmelanozytärem Hautkrebs wie dem Basalzellkarzinom und aktinischen Keratosen und bietet hier eine schnelle, nichtinvasive Möglichkeit zur Verlaufs- und Erfolgskontrolle von topischen Therapien. Kürzlich konnte in verschiedenen Studien die Genauigkeit der OCT in der Erkennung von Basalzellkarzinomen demonstriert werden. Auch die Untersuchung von inflammatorischen oder parasitären Dermatosen ist mittels OCT möglich und wurde in den letzten Jahren vermehrt beschrieben. Inzwischen sind unterschiedliche OCT-Geräte kommerziell verfügbar, die verschiedene Eindringtiefen, Auflösungen und Ansichts-Modi ermöglichen.
