New Strategies for the Better Prevention of Wrongful Convictions in China

Abstract

In the recent decade, Chinese authorities have undertaken a series of legislative and judicial reforms to prevent wrongful convictions. However, the frequent occurrence of such convictions, in spite of several previous rounds of reform, repeatedly reveals the major deficiencies of the current reforms.
