Zusammenfassung
Kulturen gibt es nicht nur in Bezug auf bestimmte Länder oder Ländergruppen. Auch jede einzelne Unternehmung ist als Ganzes als eine Art von Kultursystem zu begreifen. In einer jeden Unternehmung entwickeln sich eigene, unverwechselbare Vorstellungs- und Orientierungsmuster, die das Verhalten der Mitglieder und der betrieblichen Funktionsbereiche nachhaltig prägen. Diese kulturellen Muster leiten nicht zuletzt das Denken und Entscheiden von Akteuren der Unternehmung.
Das Phänomen der Organisationskultur wird innerhalb unterschiedlicher Forschungsdisziplinen thematisiert. Neben dem Begriff Organisationskultur findet sich in der Literatur auch häufig der Terminus des Organisationsklimas wieder. Während die beiden Begriffe zuweilen synonym verwendet werden, soll eine Unterscheidung die Abgrenzung der beiden Begriffe verdeutlichen.
