Zusammenfassung
Die Haut der Anogenitalregion ist ein dünnes, keratinisierendes Epithel. Schleimhäute finden sich nur in den Ostien der Urethra. Alle Bereiche bis auf die Haut der Glans und der kleinen Labien sind behaart. Mikrobiologisch weist die Haut der Anogenitalregion eine große Artenvielfalt auf. Sexuelle Kontakte stellen ein besonderes Risiko der Übertragung dar. Die Symptomatik und Phänomenologie der Hautkrankheiten ähnelt der der übrigen Haut. Behandlungsmaßnahmen sollten vor allem topisch erfolgen, jedoch mit niedrigeren Konzentrationen als an anderen Hautregionen.
