Eine Behandlungsbedürftigkeit des KTS besteht dann, wenn typische Beschwerden gehäuft auftreten oder anhalten und insbesondere nächtliche Schmerzen den Schlaf beeinträchtigen. Die Behandlung ist in der Regel operativ, wobei offene und endoskopische Verfahren konkurrieren.
