Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel „Allgemeine Psychologie“ stellt die grundlegenden Funktionsbereiche (Lernen, Denken, Fühlen, Wollen) der Psychologie in je eigenen Abschnitten dar. Dazu wird zunächst die Psychologie im Allgemeinen mit ihren Aufgaben und den verschiedenen Teildisziplinen betrachtet. Im Rahmen der Lernpsychologie werden einerseits verschiedene Lernformen (Assoziationslernen, klassische und operante Konditionierung, Beobachtungslernen) und andererseits Gedächtnisformen und -modelle vorgestellt. Im Rahmen der kognitiven Psychologie werden Prinzipien des Denkens (Wissensrepräsentation, logisches Denken, Problemlösen, Urteilen) und des Sprechens (Sprachwahrnehmung und -produktion) verdeutlicht. Im Rahmen der Motivationspsychologie werden Motivations- und Volitionsmodelle präsentiert sowie ausgewählte Motive (Leistung, Affiliation, Macht) beleuchtet. Im Rahmen der Emotionspsychologie schließlich stehen historische und moderne Emotionstheorien im Vordergrund.
