Zusammenfassung
Anthrax (Milzbrand), ist eine akute, durch das grampositive, sporenbildende Bakterium Bacillus anthracis hervorgerufene Infektion, die als Zoonose von Gras fressenden Tieren oder deren Produkten auf den Menschen übertragen wird. Die Krankheit präsentiert sich weit überwiegend auf der Haut, selten im Darm und sehr selten durch Inhalation in der Lunge.
