Abstract
The rare earth metal is an important strategic resource. This paper analyzed the issues affecting rare earth industry security. Based on combing the related literature with rare earth industry security, it gave the definition of rare earth industry security. Then the paper analyzed the Status of the rare earth industry security from three aspects which are Development environment, International competitiveness and industry control. Finally it found measures to ensure the rare earth industry security.
