Abstract
Angiectasia (synonyms: vascular ectasia, angiodysplasia, telangiectasia, arteriovenous malformation, or AVM) is a circumscribed dilatation of the capillary vessels in the mucosa or submucosa of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
