Abstract

Mobility and mobile Internet will play a prominent role in commerce in the future: the number of smartphone users is climbing sharply and expected to double again in the next few years (cf. AGOF. (2013). Dem mobilen user auf der Spur, Zahlen, Daten, Fakten [On the trail of the mobile user – Figures, data, facts]. Presentation by Stefan Brax at the Mobile Summit 2013). More than 40 % of the German-speaking population already regularly uses web-enabled mobile devices to access the World Wide Web.
