Abstract
Preoperative considerations in cryosurgery include aspects that relate to the surgeons and some that relate to the patient. Before treating a lesion with cryosurgery, the operator should have the diagnosis. Considerations about location, skin type, and number of lesions are part of this assessment. Patients will need to sign a consent form, apply preoperative treatments when needed, know the healing timing and postoperative care to follow, and suggest the best timing for the procedure.
