Abstract
As in any surgical procedure, cryosurgery is not free of complications. Some of these complications are heavy crust formation, bacterial infection, bleeding, liquid nitrogen emphysema, cold urticaria, retraction, and nonaesthetic scar. The knowledge on why and how these events can occur will help deal with them, prevent them, and minimize damage to patients.
