Zusammenfassung

Implantierbare venöse Portsysteme gehören seit mehr als 25 Jahren zum unentbehrlichen Werkzeug der Hämatologie und internistischen Onkologie. Sie sind aus dem Alltag der medikamentösen Tumortherapie und der onkologischen Supportivtherapie im stationären Bereich und noch viel mehr im ambulanten Umfeld nicht mehr wegzudenken und werden zunehmend häufiger genutzt.
